The Internet Speculative Fiction Database catalogs all Prydain publications, Alexander's fiction and The Prydain Companion by Michael O. They act as backstories which fill in gaps for minor characters. The short stories, now collected in The Foundling and Other Tales of Prydain, were originally published in three volumes: two picture books and one collection. The DJ (clipped, but partial $3.97 price still visible) is Near Fine, having been protected under library mylar (which has become somewhat yellowed & opaque). Interior pages white & unmarked, hinges strong. Condition is VG: quite clean save for discoloration at both upper & lower edges of both boards, especially around marks from old tape that was used to hold on the DJ. A FIRST EDITION, first printing, from 1967 (with NO award sticker, as required), this is an Ex-Lib with the usual stamps & markings in front matter & outside page edges, in the reinforced library binding format, with decorative paper over boards that are strong & sturdy.
