The chicken was juicy and flavorful, and the enchiladas were packed with cheese and topped with a delicious mole sauce. The steak was cooked perfectly to medium rare, and it was so tender that it melted in my mouth. On our most recent visit, I had the steak, my wife had the chicken, and we also shared the braised enchiladas. The food is always delicious, the service is excellent, and the atmosphere is cozy and inviting. We go there at least once a week, and we've never been disappointed. My wife and I are big fans of Red Drum Restaurant in Mount Pleasant. Speaking about Red Drum has me quite hungry now, so I’m on a flight from Connecticut soon to grab some food and drinks. This is the place for a twist on your palette. ![]() ![]() ![]() I’m wanting to speak to so many of their great dishes, but I’ll just say. Another favorite dish is the wood grilled salmon, I do always have to send this dish back as they seem to undercook it all the time, I like mines a little more well done, asking for more of the green Chile butter, mmm. You enter and melt into the atmosphere knowing you’ve come to a great spot. The southwestern low country ambiance is to character. Each time I’m in town, this stop has to be on my list. I’m a Chocolate Martini □ guy and wow,(posted below) do they make a great one. One of my now, favorite to go dishes is the sweet corn pudding, Aw man this is an excellent prepared dish just as an appetizer. The entire menu is great and the bar is open even later if not only but for a drink and some time together with whoever. I like it that this is one of some, locations I know to stay open later than many others. We'll be back if we ever visit Charleston again. Everything was super tasty and if I could have eaten more or eaten it again I would have. I had the citrus chilli short rib tacos which came with a salad, hubby had the cilantro limb buffalo shrimp tacos and we shared a side of pomme frites. The food was delicious, I'll go as far as to say it was some of the best we'd had on our trip (we're uk based and this was a holiday). When you go through the door it is everything you weren't expecting when you first see it, cute interior, nice bar to the left and wonderful staff.Ĭandice was our server as we chose to eat at the bar instead of waiting for a table. I am not going to lie, I was dubious when we turned up, it's in strip mall and the windows are blacked out. We were looking for somewhere to eat close to our hotel as we'd had a long drive but we didn't want to head to a fast food place.Īfter looking at surrounding restaurants and reviews we chose Graze. It's a shame because the place is so pretty but you can't hide ugly personalities:( On our way out we talked to said manager about what happened and he had no care at all and did not try to rectify the situation in any way, no apology. The food options were mediocre at best so we got up and left. She claimed her manager agreed with her and refused to bring him to the table. She could have handled this in a way that was appropriate in a fine dining atmosphere but my parents were absolutely horrified that she was claiming that they were bringing in underaged kids to drink with fake IDs in such a blunt way. I completely understand you may need to check IDs but her delivery and the way she treated us was beyond disrespectful. We asked why she needed them and she said something like we aren't sure if we can accept these. She didn't even seem to know what she was asking for and we were both confused as to what she wanted. ![]() She took our IDs away from the table without saying anything about it and then came back and asked for another form of ID which neither of us have ever had happen to us before. We quickly got our drink order together and me and my sister gave our IDs upon request, we are 21 and 25 years old - we go out all over Charleston and never have a problem. From the start our server Lexi was rude and hurried when we had only just sat down. Went here for Mother's Day and had an absolutely terrible time.
